iland co. lovers, we know how much you love to travel and holiday! One of our favourite destinations is the beautiful Bali in Indonesia. The perfect island location to relax and soak up summer vibes all year round and truly unwind in style. Just a quick flight away from Australia, it's the ultimate vacation spot to seamlessly slip into holiday and resort mode.
So get your resortwear and kimonos at the ready, here's some of our top tips and recommendations for your next Bali getaway.
What do you need when you visit bali?
Bali year round sounds amazing to us, but the dry season from April to September is generally the best and most popular time to visit - as warm and sunny days are on the cards. As for what to put into your suitcase, light and breathable summer clothing is clearly best for the hotter climate so think linen shorts, pretty shirts, flowy maxi dresses and stylish kimonos. We suggest packing a selection of your favourite iland co. pieces to complement your adventure.
Kimonos are really ideal as they are perfect as an easy throw-over or topper to wear while poolside or making your way around the town. Kimonos really mix up an outfit or dress up a look from day to night. Our one size fits most cocoon kimonos as well as our short, mid and maxi length kimonos are great for this. Our signature Alise Chiffon Cocoon Kimono is an obvious choice as well as the oh so beautiful Leopard Print Silky Cocoon Kimono.
Dresses are great because they still deliver on style whilst providing comfort. Because they are flowy as well as modest, a maxi dress is a great choice. The Isle Of Mine Coppola Maxi Dress is a stunner. It's a cute look for when you're shopping at the market or having a beachside stroll.
Overall, your holiday look and choice of clothing will evoke a care-free feeling while still delivering on style.
Of course you can't forget about some stellar accessories, a clutch is a must of course. Animal print lovers adore the Beaded Zebra Clutch. A snazzy necklace will also be super handy like the Large Ring Drop Pendant Necklace.
Bali itinerary suggestions
Bali offers loads of cool spots to suit each traveller's taste. Seminyak provides sophistication and luxury accommodation and restaurants where Legian provides more laid back beach vibes. So depending if you are after a romantic trip for two, a solo retreat of a family vacay will sway your preference, but you really can't go wrong with any of Bali's gorgeous beachside escapes.
Accomodation wise, Bali gives many the chance to enjoy themselves and embrace an all star experience at one of many beautiful 5 star resorts such as the Pullman Bali Legian Beach or the Padma Resort Legian. Offering gorgeous rooms and superb facilities, drinks by the pool and deckchair relaxation sounds like a pretty easy choice for us.
Food wise, Crumb & Coaster is a trendy and awesome cafe spot. For a taste of authentic local food Made's Warung Kuta restaurant is very popular.
A great day trip idea is to head out to Nusa Lembogan for a day on what feels like your own little island oasis. Head there by boat and enjoy its beautiful view and pristine clear waters.
Enjoy Dream Beach, indulge for lunch at Sandy Bay Resort, check out the breathtaking natural wonder called Devil's Tear or watch the sunset.
Perhaps you'd like to immerse yourself culturally. Perhaps you can spend the day exploring a temple like the Saraswati Temple.
A nice night out is to be had at the gorgeous restaurant Chez Gado Gado for some beachfront fine dining. A Leopard Print Silky Kimono Jacket is the perfect outfit choice with its trendy leopard print to wear from day to night.
But the best thing about Bali is the fact that you can really do nothing at all! Simply unwind, put your feet up and enjoy the bliss of stillness in such a beautiful destination. Nothing but island vibes!
